Geri Earns Less Than Ex-Spice Pals

Geri Halliwell may wannabe a Spice Girl again after finding out her annual earnings were less than her former pals.

ITN reports that in a pop music earnings chart, the artist formerly known as Ginger Spice made less money than Posh and co. Still, the singer can't complain too much as she's still among the top 10 earners, with Geri Productions making about £6 million a year.

Mel B came into the top of the pop earnings chart at number seven, despite a difficult year in which she had to pay out money to her estranged husband Jimmy Gulzar.

Mel C, Posh and Baby all made around the £6 million mark.

But Geri can still enjoy the last laugh, as her pal Sir Elton John topped the chart, making a massive £25 million a year.

ROBBIE Williams emerged as a true entertainer during an outrageous question and answer session with fans on the Internet.

The singer revealed the truth about his relationship with Geri Halliwell, his thoughts on Gary Barlow and his feud with the Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.

He also revealed his thoughts on sex, fighting and homosexuality with many of his answers simply too crude to be printed in a family newspaper - especially some lewd remarks about Kylie Minogue.

The former Take That star - who was in Glasgow yesterday for a radio interview to promote his new album - admitted he didn't score with Geri although it wasn't for the lack of trying.

He admitted he did try to start a relationship with the ex-Spice Girl while they were on holiday in St Tropez but she wasn't interested because he was a "slag".

He said: "It's not for the want of trying. She just wanted none of it."

He joked he would have had better luck having sex with Prince Edward.

However, the singer, who has dated Nicole Appleton, admitted the rumours he had a relationship with Sporty Spice were true.

He said: "Have I had sex with her? Yeah, probably."

Robbie made light of the reports that he'd been hit over the head with a chair in a St Tropez bar riot.

He said: "I was having a late drink with my punchy friends. They are the most placid guys you would ever meet - one guy served jail for murder.

"Anyway, we're out for a drink. A man started talking to me in French and that just offended me. I had forgotten we were in France.

"It provoked my friend and it just ended up in a fist-fight.

"The myth is a chair was broken over my head but the truth is I had beaten up so many people that I decided to headbutt a chair. You should see the chair."

Robbie had another go at the Gallagher brothers who belittled him by claiming he was only a "fat dancer".

Robbie said: "Anyone who has to shave their eyebrows with their elbows has a problem.

"You know those gloves they used to have where they were bound together. Their mother did that with their eyebrows."

He also had a go at former Take That friend Gary Barlow.

When asked if he could beat Gary in a fight, he said: "I don't know. He's a stocky fellow. Low centre of gravity and low self-esteem. Two things that make a powerful combination."

At one point, Robbie told Net surfers what would happen if he was in a brothel with 1000 prostitutes and copious amounts of drugs.

He replied: "That's typically how I spend my weekdays."

Another fan asked about an interview in which he said he'd buried someone under his house.

He said: "It wasn't until I read the interview that I did decide that I do believe that I killed somebody. I don't want to go into it now."

When another fan asked if he had a tiger tattooed on his private parts, he said: "There's no room for it because of the giraffe."

He was also asked what the weirdest thing was a fan had ever given him and quipped: "Herpes."

He then went on to talk about Princess Diana and claimed Harrods boss Mohammed Al Fayed's conspiracy theories about her death should be recognised.

He said: "I had met her once when I had tea at her house. She was an amazing person. She was very charming, witty and honest. I was a bit in awe of her. She was beautiful as well.

Bring back Geri

SINGER Robbie Williams has been told he is still welcome in St Tropez despite his bar brawl - but only if Geri Halliwell is there to keep an eye on him.

The Daily Star exclusively revealed yesterday how Robbie was hit over the back of the head with a chair and a pal was stabbed in the leg during a terrifying bust up in the posh French resort.

A waiter at the 24hour Le Gorille bar was punched in the face as he tried to calm things down and tables and glasses were smashed.

Despite the early morning punch up - which happened just hours after the singer had jetted in from Munich - Robbie has been told he is not barred from the resort and won't have to foot the bill for the damage.

Bar worker Laurent Troyet said: "Robbie has been here several times in the past few weeks with Geri Halliwell.

"When they were here together there was never any trouble. They would always sit quietly and have a drink or a meal.

"But what happened on Sunday was terrible. I was very frightened.

"There were bottles and plates smashed and an Englishman was stabbed with a knife.

"If Robbie wants to come back here again we have no problem. But I suggest he brings that ex-Spice Girl.

"He seems to behave himself when she is around."

Mr Troyet, who revealed the bar are not seeking damages, added: "The police came, but no action is being taken. We won't be sending Robbie the bill.

"We don't know who actually started the row."

Just hours after the fight, which took place early on Sunday morning, Robbie jetted back to Munich ahead of a charity gig later that night.

He flew out to St Tropez earlier this month and is staying at Geri's luxury villa - sparking rumours of a romance.

But the 26-year-old pin-up, whose third album Sing When You're Winning was released on Monday, has played down their feelings for each other, insisting they are just good friends.

In fact, during a radio interview on Capital FM, recorded just a day before he flew out to join St Tropez, Robbie revealed it was Kylie Minogue who he was interested in.

He even tried to sell himself to the Aussie beauty. He said: "I've got it all. I'm good between the sheets, sexy and got a good bum. So Kylie, what are you waiting for?"

His raunchy boast prompted Geri's pals to warn her of his Jack-the-Lad antics, saying she was about to get hurt.

One said: "Geri is really very sensitive.

"She has been told to beware of him because if he does have his way with her, what are the odds of him staying with her?"

News that he is still welcome in the millionaire's playground comes as it was revealed he can't wait to get back to England- so he can play with his new state-of-the-art hi-fi.

He has splashed out on a £500,000 Bang and Olufsen stereo system and had it wired into every room of his new pad in Notting Hill, west London - including his toilet.

He has also included a screening room and special lighting for when he moves into the £4million house later this year.

A pal said: "Robbie's had such phenomenal success recently, he felt it was time to splash out and turn his home into a real state-of-the-art pad.

"He thinks it's a real laugh having an expensive stereo in the toilet.

"Robbie's a hard worker and deserves a little luxury in his life."

The pop beauty - fresh from sunning herself with Robbie Williams in St Tropez - has bought a fabulous Aston Martin DB7.

Geri has obviously been in the mood for a bit of retail therapy. I'm told she bought 400 bottles of champagne while she was staying with Robbie.

ROBBIE Williams went public yesterday to deny point blank that he and Geri Halliwell are lovers.

He added: "I'm too much of a slag." Robbie, 26, has been holidaying with Geri, 28, in the south of France.

After a concert in Cologne, Germany, he said: "We have been having such a laugh reading the stuff that has been written about us.

"We are not girlfriend and we are not boyfriend and are not in love. We are just two people that have been through the same thing and each understands what the other has been thinking. She doesn't want to go out with me because I am too much of a slag."

Rumours that the pop stars were an item started when they went to St Tropez together two weeks ago. They were pictured beside the pool of a villa Geri rented for a few weeks' break.

Fifteen other guests were sharing the £3million house.

An aide to Geri said last night: "We have always said their relationship is purely platonic. Hopefully the more fanciful stories will now stop."

Geri's look of love

FIT and fabulous - it's just got to be the look of love for scooter soulmates Geri Halliwell and Robbie Williams.

For there's nothing like true romance for making a girl and her guy radiate that sleek, healthy glow.

And, 14 days into their French Riviera holiday, Geri and Robbie are shaping up like they've never done before.

The former puppyfat podgy Ginger Spice, 28, is now showing off a body to die for - thanks to a special programme of diet, nutrition and exercise.

The transformation has also obviously rubbed off on Robbie, 26, who has battled drink and drugs in the past but is displaying an incredible physique.

The cynics said it wouldn't last and that he would stay only briefly with Geri in St Tropez - maybe just long enough for his Rock DJ to become the No.1 single.

Well, that mission was acccomplished and Mel C's I Turn to You is now top.

But Robbie - a restless bloke who is easily bored - is still sticking around. And, casting an eye over Geri in her animal-print bikini, it's easy to see why.

In between the scooter rides, jet-ski trips and sea and beach games, Geri has kept working out with weights, doing yoga exercises while maintaning the diet designed for her by Norwegian expert Torje Eike.

She swears by his Total Fitness Plan, saying: "I am absolutely delighted. I have never felt better. I feel I have bundles of energy.."

Geri revealed: "I started seeing results after a month, especially around my tummy and bottom, and am determined to carry on."

Torje, whose other famous clients include Mick Jagger and his ex-wife Jerry Hall, believes that the way to a perfect figure revolves around the right sort of food as well as exercise.

Followers of his TFP aren't encouraged to shed weight too quickly - but to gradually eat less while stepping up exercise.

He insists that if you pick the right type of exercise and follow a low-fat, high carbohydrate diet, you will be slim and fit for life.

And Geri has been following his methods to the letter, eating five types of fruit and veg a day.

She also tucks into wholegrain rice, pasta, grilled chicken, jacket potatoes and sugar free cereal.

Then she tones up with daily stints of uphill power walking and aerobics exercise including the back-stretching "crab".

Never a big drinker, Geri has even cut down on her alcohol intake - even though apart from TFP the golden showbiz couple have been acting just like ordinary sunseekers rather than Britain's hottest chart stars.

On Day 14 of their break, Robbie and Geri tried water-skiing before nipping off on a bike.

The sensible pair donned crash helmets, just as they'd worn lifejackets earlier.

And on the beach Geri even spent some time in the shade - a position she isn't accustomed to.

She and Robbie are also still keeping us all in the dark about their feelings for each other.

A source just said: "They are friends." But, looking as good as they do, there's surely more to it!

One witness said: "Geri was really encouraging Robbie. She posed with the team and seemed to be the normal, friendly and supportive girlfriend."

Robbie, a fanatical fan of lowly English side Port Vale, often shows off his footballing talents at celebrity and charity games.

Perhaps his goal-grabbing exploits will help him get over the disappointment of seeing his single Rock DJ knocked off the number one spot by Geri's old pal Mel C on Sunday.

GERI Halliwell bent over backwards to have holiday fun with Robbie Williams yesterday.

And the lithe ex-Spice Girl twisted her slim figure into other eye-catching shapes too as she did keep-fit exercises under his gaze.

Dyed-blonde Geri, taunted as being overweight during her Ginger Spice days, looked stunning on the beach in a black swimsuit.

Singer Robbie seemed in good trim as well. The 26-year-old heart-throb showed his muscular physique and Maori-style tattoos when he took _ a swim in the Mediterranean at the French Riviera resort of St Tropez.

Throughout their vacation, the two stars have weathered the jibes of critics who say their relationship is all one big publicity stunt.

True, Robbie's new single Rock DJ shot straight to number one amid publicity over his "love" for Geri, 27.

And upcoming paperback sales of Geri's biography If Only are unlikely to be harmed by the fuss.

But as the sun beamed down on the couple near their rented pounds 10,000-_-a-week villa, few could deny that this is a genuine friendship.

Still, it appears that romance is not in the air despite many gestures of affection - such as Geri nuzzling Robbie's back yesterday.

A source close to the pair said: "They haven't been seen kissing each other - because they're not going out with each other. They are friends.''

The pop pair rounded off the first week of their romantic holiday frolicking on the scorching French Riviera.

And their happy fun and games on the beach at St Tropez showed life's a beach for the pair of them.

It was a far cry from the highly public bustup when jealous Geri stormed off on the eve of her birthday after they had gone out for a quiet meal.

Geri stomped back to their hotel and left Robbie to party the night away alone before sleeping on the floor of a pal's bedroom.

But the pair appeared to have kissed and made up.

They have since been spotted out shopping eyeing pricey jewellery.

Robbie, sporting green and white bathing shorts, showed off his tattoos as Geri went through her dazzling exercise routine.

The couple then splashed about enjoying a joke.

One bather said: "They both seemed really relaxed together.

"Any rows they've had certainly seem to be over.

"Geri was sitting on the sand chatting to Robbie and a mate and then she just warmed up and did this amazing backwards stretch.

Bitchy Posh has pop at her pal

POSH Spice yesterday claimed Geri Halliwell's romance with Robbie Williams was just a publicity stunt.

Victoria Beckham said the holiday fling between the pair was created by spin doctors to ensure Robbie's single, Rock DJ, shot to the top of the charts this week.

The celebrity couple's heavily publicised trip to St Tropez also coincided with the paperback release of former Spice Girl Geri's autobiography, If Only.

Posh also hit out at Robbie for using shock tactics in the video for his new single in which he appears to strip off his flesh.

In a bitchy jibe, she said: "It's probably been done to get it banned and get attention. It's like bringing an album out and saying b****cks all the way through it.

"Sometimes it can be fun to do things like that. Sometimes it can be a boring.

"Same with these people who all of a sudden start a new relationship the week their single comes out. I'm glad I'm out of all of that.

"I'm surprised people fall for it. But if Geri and Robbie are happy together, I'm really happy for them."

Meanwhile, Victoria releases her own single, Out Of Your Mind, on Monday with True- steppers and Dane Bowers.

And the new Spice Girls album is to be released in November.

It took more than 14 months to record but Victoria said: "I wouldn't say it was the hardest album we have done so far because my own album is probably the hardest.

"We've taken our time with it. The reason it's taken so long is that we've all wanted to do our own thing as well. It's a really great album and we're very proud of it.

"It's a bit more of a mature sound but that's natural as two of us have had babies and we've all grown up a lot."

She added: "My personal favourite is a song called If You Want To Have Some Fun. It's quite swingbeat, very summery. But it still has that Spice Girls feel to it."

Mel B denies lyric revenge on ex

MEL B has denied that the lyrics of her latest single are a revenge attack on her ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar.

In her new single, Tell Me, Mel B accuses the 31-year-old dancer of being greedy and inadequate.

She said: "It's just my way of putting that part of my life to bed.

"I went through an emotional battering and I have come out of it feeling stronger than ever. I don't care what Jimmy thinks. This is not my way of getting revenge."

The lyrics include lines such as "All you loved was Mel B's money" and "I didn't see that you could never be the type of man to meet my needs."

HOLLYWOOD star Kiefer Sutherland is the latest big name to be linked to the new Burns movie.

The massive production, Clarinda, is about Robert Burns' affair with Edinburgh society mistress Agnes M'Lehose, who signed herself Clarinda in letters to the bard.

Sutherland, star of Young Guns and A Few Good Men, is keen to play her estranged husband, with Robert Carlyle tipped for Burns' best friend.

And Johnny Depp is poised to play the great man himself, but the lead role of Clarinda is still to be cast. Emma Thompson was an early favourite, but her new baby might prevent it.

Liz is on the beauty trail

ELIZABETH HURLEY has signed a pounds 300,000 contract with the BBC to present a series on beautiful faces with comedy star John Cleese.

They will front a four-part series called The Human Face.

The first show will concentrate on the faces of film stars Catherine Deneuve and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Hugh Grant, Liz Hurley's former boyfriend with whom she still shares a house in London, is not expected to be featured in the

series.
